Prodrive Subaru Impreza GC8 rally car

Prodrive-built 1995 Subaru Impreza GC8 rally car that has undergone a bare-shell restoration carried out by a former Prodrive employee. Finished in the works rally colour (Renault 242) with 555 livery applied by the original Prodrive sticker specialist, and carrying an interesting 555 registration. Powered by a forged engine with closed-deck block and 5th injector, mated to a 5-speed dog box with Prodrive hydraulic handbrake and differential release plus a low-ratio final drive. Four-pot brake calipers and Prodrive adjustable platform suspension, Prodrive bag tank with external fuel pump arrangement and spare wheel holder. Interior features a Prodrive carbon dashboard, switch panel, navigation trip meter and dash display, with original bonnet lamp pods and PIAA lights. Protection includes a full-length Kevlar sump guard, Kevlar underfloor guards and Kevlar sill guards. New seats and harnesses, extinguishers and Peltor intercom fitted; original fixings and brackets powder coated and re-plated, with gold alloy bolts throughout. Supplied with both tarmac and gravel Prodrive Speedline wheels and a Prodrive quick-release exhaust with Haywood & Scott rear silencer delete option. Accompanied by a folder of history, old invoices and data. Has received invitations to many events and has only been used twice by the current owner; suitable for historic rallying, demonstration events, competition or social use.
