What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how the site is used.

We group them in three categories, matching the cookie banner:
- Necessary — sign-in, language, payment fraud prevention and remembering your cookie choice. Always on.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 and PostHog (EU-hosted). Off until you opt in. Without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded at all, and PostHog only receives usage events tied to an identifier held in memory, so nothing is stored on your device. Once you opt in, PostHog keeps that identifier in a cookie and local storage so one visit is not split across pages, and records sessions to help us find broken flows; form inputs and personal details shown on screen are masked before the recording leaves your browser.
- Marketing — Google Ads conversion measurement, through Google Consent Mode. Off until you opt in.
Basic site performance is measured by Vercel without cookies. Sentry receives error and performance data only, with no session recording.
Local storage
We also use your browser's local storage, not cookies, to remember your cookie choice (rfs-cookie-consent:v1) and your selected currency. With analytics consent, PostHog keeps its identifier there too.
Managing cookies
Necessary cookies cannot be disabled. Analytics and marketing stay off until you opt in, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Use the Manage cookies link in the site footer to turn analytics or marketing on or off, or adjust your browser settings to delete cookies already set.
