    Listings on Race for Sale are reviewed before they go live. Photos, paperwork claims and pricing are checked. Filter by category, eligibility, country, price and more.

  2. Enquire directly

    Contact sellers through our enquiry system. Sign in for a smoother reply thread, or send as a guest. Guest messages are held briefly for moderation before the seller sees them.

  3. Arrange inspection

    We strongly recommend an independent technical inspection before purchase, by a specialist familiar with the car's category and era.

For sellers

  1. Create your listing

    Our six-step listing builder walks you through everything: category, vehicle details, photos, description, eligibility and price. Auto-saved at every step so you can finish later from your dashboard. Already listed the vehicle elsewhere? Paste the link on the first step and we import the details and photos for you to review.

  2. Editorial review

    We review your listing for accuracy, photo quality and paperwork claims. We will contact you with feedback if anything needs clarification.

  3. Go live

    Once approved, your listing goes live across the marketplace. Buyer enquiries come to your inbox. Featured adds homepage and search visibility; Premium may also appear in the Friday newsletter.

  4. Free to list

    Standard listings are free during our launch period, no credit card required. Featured and Premium placements are awarded editorially.

Verified sellers

  1. What the verified badge means

    Sellers who complete an optional identity check in their account settings can earn a verified badge on their profile. Contact details shared in an enquiry are not identity verification.

  2. Verified is not the same as reviewed

    Editorial review checks a listing’s photos, paperwork claims and pricing. The verified badge is about the seller’s identity check. A listing can be reviewed without a verified seller. A verified seller’s listing goes live straight away and is reviewed once it is live.

Common questions

Are listings reviewed before they go live?
A new seller's listing is checked by a person before it is published: photos, paperwork claims and pricing. Verified sellers, approved trade sellers and sellers with a listing we have already approved go live straight away, and we check those listings once they are live. An open report against a seller sends their next listing back through review first.
How do buyers contact sellers?
Through our enquiry system. Signed-in buyers message sellers directly; guest enquiries are moderated first. Your name, email and phone (if provided) are shared with the seller.
Is it free to list a car?
Standard listings are free during our launch period — no credit card required.
Should I get an inspection before buying?
Yes. We strongly recommend an independent technical inspection by a specialist familiar with the car's category and era.
