How listing ranking works
Transparency on how paid plans affect visibility on Race for Sale.
Race for Sale is a marketplace, not an auction house. We do not guarantee a sale. This page explains how listings are ordered in search and on the homepage.
Standard listings
Standard listings appear in category and search results sorted by relevance, recency, or the sort option the buyer selects. They are not boosted above other Standard listings except by those sort rules.
Featured listings
Featured listings receive increased visibility in search results and may appear in featured modules on the homepage and category pages for their plan duration.
Premium listings
Premium listings receive the highest organic placement among paid plans, including priority in search ranking and prominent homepage hero slots when inventory allows.
Auction listings
Auction listings are shown with an auction badge and sorted by ending time when buyers choose auction-focused views. They may also appear in dedicated auction modules.
Search relevance
Text search weighs title, make, model, and specification fields. Filters the buyer applies (category, country, price, year) always take precedence over paid placement within the filtered result set.
